Welcome to the new BoomReader website! Take a look around we have so much to share!

For schools

Add BoomReader to your school website

A free widget for your school website: show families you're a BoomReader school, with fresh book ideas for your pupils every day. Choose what it shows, copy the code and paste it into your website.

Your school

If we can match your school code, your widget shows a "Verified BoomReader school" tick. Not sure what it is? Leave it out: the widget works just the same.

What it shows
Which year groups are the books for?

Every book is right for at least one of the year groups you choose, and shows its ages.

How it looks
Layout
Colours

The widget fits the width of wherever you put it, from a phone to a full page.

We don't ask for anyone's name or email address. The widget is safe for pupils' pages: no cookies, no tracking and no adverts, nothing to buy, and nothing loads from other websites. We only count how many times it's seen each day, and on which website.

This is how it will look. The books change every day.

Adding it to your website

WordPress

Edit the page, add a Custom HTML block where you'd like the widget, and paste the code. On older WordPress, switch the editor to Text before pasting.

Wix

Choose Add, then Embed code, then Embed HTML. Paste the code, choose Update, then drag the box to the size you'd like.

Squarespace

Add a Code block where you'd like the widget, paste the code, and make sure the display is set to HTML.

School Spider

In the page editor, use the Source or HTML button and paste the code where you'd like the widget. If it doesn't show, ask School Spider's support to allow an iframe from www.boomreader.co.uk.

Schudio

Edit the page, choose the Source code (<>) button in the editor, and paste the code. Schudio's support team can help if iframes are switched off on your site.

Google Sites

Choose Insert, then Embed, then Embed code, and paste the code.

Something else

Most website builders have an "HTML", "Embed" or "Code" block: paste the code there. If your website company manages your site, use "Email these instructions" and they'll know what to do.
