BoomReader FAQ's

To start using BoomReader, visit https://boomhub.app/signup/read to create your teacher account. This will allow you to set up a school account and add your staff and students. You can activate a month-free trial to explore the features and then continue with a subscription after the trial period.
For Wonde Schools: Changes made in your school's MIS system will be reflected in BoomReader after the latest sync, which occurs overnight. There might be a slight delay as your MIS syncs with Wonde and then Wonde syncs with BoomReader. Please allow 24 hours for changes to appear. You can also force a sync by clicking the "Sync From Wonde" button on your manage class page. For Non-Wonde Schools: Follow the specific instructions provided in your BoomReader account to add a new student.

In BoomReader, children earn gems for logging their reading up to twice a day. This can be a log from a teacher, parent or child. The gems they earn are randomised each time (they receive between 1-3).

Teachers do not have to manually award gems, but can give extra gems by clicking the award gems button on the pupil page.
