New Year Class Migration for 25/26 Academic Year

Overview

BoomReaders' student management is split into two halves. Schools that use Wonde to manage users from their school's MIS and manual users that use BoomReaders' in-built management system using CSV files and individual student creation within the system.

Please be aware:

Once the migration is complete, students who are leaving your school will no longer have access to BoomReader. This means any books they read over the summer will not be counted towards your Summer Readathon totals.

Wonde Schools

If your school uses Wonde to manage BoomReader users, the good news is that updates are simple! Just head over to your school's MIS (Management Information System) and make any changes or additions there. BoomReader will automatically reflect those updates.

If you're unsure how to make changes in your MIS, we recommend checking your MIS provider's help guides or support centre for detailed instructions.

Please note: the BoomReader team doesn’t have access to your school’s MIS, so we’re unable to assist with any changes made within it. We only receive the information shared with us through Wonde, so for anything deeper, your MIS support is the best place to go.

Please be aware that BoomReader syncs with Wonde from midnight to 5 am every night, so you will need to wait for this sync window to complete to see the changes reflect in BoomReader.

BoomReaders' in-built management

If your school uses BoomReaders' in-built management system, you will need to use the migration wizard on the BoomReader platform. To do this, you must be an admin of your school. Please log in to BoomReader and follow the steps in the wizard to complete the migration.
